Enroll in our Driver Ed program in Granite School District and build your driving confidence with our Utah state-approved program.
Program Phases
- Get your learner's permit.
- In-person or Online driver ed course.
- While in the course start your 40 hours of driving with a parent, you must begin with a permit and practice with a parent before driving independently.
- Two 2-hour range sessions.
- Six .5-hour road lessons.
- Take the Road Skills Test at the Driver's License Division or with a private provider.
Behind-the-wheel driving is for refining skills and passing the test, not for learning the basics.
Course Overview
To register, you must:
- Be at least 15 years old
- Have a valid learner's permit
- Be enrolled at Cottonwood High School, Cyprus High School, Granger High School, Hunter High School, Kearns High School, Olympus High School, Skyline High School, or Taylorsville High School.
IMPORTANT!
You must attend a Granite School District high school to register for our courses. Unfortunately, you will be turned away if you proceed without meeting these requirements. You cannot enroll in our courses if you have graduated from high school or your graduation date has passed.
You must have your permit before registering for any driving appointments. If you do not have your permit, please obtain it first and then register.
If you register with false information, you will be removed from the class at the instructor's discretion.
